The Mirror 52x 80 minute CD-R is the fastest disc available today. You can now record a CD in the time it takes to boil the kettle*. Our Grade A Mirror CD-R can store up to 700MB of data or 80 minutes of your favourite audio tracks.
The word 'CD-R' stands for CD-Recordable. Mirror CD-R contain a layer of photo-sensitive organic polymer dye. When you record a CD-R, a laser is used to heat the dye layer, creating a permanent mark - this process is commonly called 'burning'. These marks alter its reflective properties, as they are not as reflective as the untouched areas. This 'burning' process is irreversible, therefore CD-R discs are WORM (Write Once Read Many). Once a CD-R discs has been recorded, the information cannot be erased making it incorruptible.
Mirror 52x 80 Minute Full-Face InkJet Printable CD-R feature an advanced Full-Face InkJet Printable face that has excellent ink absorption and a specially made quick drying surface. The Full-Face surface means that you can print onto the entire surface of the disc... even the hub!
